Divide the decimal number by 16 repeatedly and read remainders (as hex digits) from bottom to top.
Divide by 16, collect remainders as hex digits
Keep dividing by 16:
255 ÷ 16 = 15 R 15 (F) → 15 ÷ 16 = 0 R 15 (F) → Result: FF₁₆
